Annual Nicky/Nicki Run for Children’s Hospital

We held our 2nd Annual Nicky/Nicki Run on May 4! Each year, we gather to walk or run and raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado in memory of Nicky Lizakowski, son of Dawn Peterson (teacher at EGFSH), a Fireside student who lost his battle with cancer, and Nicole (Nicki) Haley, a Fireside student who passed away in 2013.
Donations: A donation of any amount to Children’s Hospital. Your donation is tax deductible. Donations can be made by cash, check payable to Children’s Hospital, or online at tinyurl.com/y53ovmm6. Donations can also be given to Dawn Peterson, the High School Office or placed in a jar in the Cafeteria.
Information: After school, the students from each class will walk around the school to kick off a virtual weekend event. Remote learners will be welcome to join. (And get those colorful socks ready, because May 4 will be
Crazy Sock Day in honor of Nicky and Nicki! Dawn Peterson will donate $1 to Children’s Hospital for every person who wears a Crazy Sock)
