Our Good News Call of the Day is Callie Defoe.
She was nominated by paraprofessional Mrs. Christiansen and this is what she said about Callie: "Callie has gone out of her way to include and help a shy classmate who wants to be involved but sometimes hides. She includes him at recess playing tag or taking turns swinging. She has moved over to make room for him in music so he had a friend and would join in and he did! She gives him high fives and offers him help and even hugs. I can see how she helps others as well. She has a gift that I hope she continues to nurture and grow. I’m proud to know her!"
